Born in France, I pursued art alongside science during my education. After graduating from an agribusiness and environment school, I moved to Italy, and in 2001, I settled in the UK. I ran a marketing company specializing in organic food imports before transitioning full-time into my passion—art. Now, as a mother of four, I feel privileged to dedicate my time to creativity, sharing my work with others.
Texture is at the core of my work—it’s the heartbeat that brings my compositions to life. I use grit, sand, and stones I personally collect to create contrasting textures and unique focal points. Each material carries its own story, rooted in nature, enriching the layers of my art with meaning.
I also prioritize sustainability in my practice, repurposing materials wherever possible. For example, my Gliterrati and Blue Navy Trellis collections were created on textured wallpaper left over from a home renovation. These pieces celebrate the beauty of reuse over consumption.
Colour is my endless fascination. Using vibrant acrylics straight from the bottle, I mix hues directly on the canvas with wide paintbrushes, knives, and spreaders. Every stroke is an exploration, embracing surprises and happy accidents.
